Spine: Minimally invasive spine surgery, motion-preserving spine surgery, cervical artificial disc replacement, lumbar artificial disc replacement, spinal decompression procedures, microdiscectomy, adult spinal deformity and complex spinal reconstruction, spinal trauma, spinal tumors.

About Dr. Nanney

Dr. Tripp Nanney is a board-certified neurosurgeon originally from North Carolina. He earned his medical degree at the University of North Carolina and completed advanced training in both spine and brain surgery at Northwestern University in Chicago.

He has practiced in both Colorado and North Carolina, and ultimately returned to Colorado with his family to enjoy the state’s unique lifestyle and opportunities.

Fluent in Spanish, Dr. Nanney is committed to expanding access to care for a broader range of patients. Recognized by nursing staff for his compassionate approach, he strives to provide holistic, patient-centered care for individuals and families navigating neurosurgical conditions.

Dr. Nanney treats the full spectrum of brain and spine disorders, with particular expertise in brain tumors, aneurysms and vascular malformations, pituitary tumors, and neuro-oncology. His surgical interests also include minimally invasive spine procedures, complex and deformity spine surgery, and spine tumors. In addition, he is dedicated to advancing the use of navigation systems and emerging robotic technologies in the operating room to improve outcomes for his patients.
