Your Virtual Appointment

Our Established telehealth services allow you to videochat with your care team and review your imaging together to make a personalized care plan. We use a secure, HIPAA compliant app to ensure your privacy is protected.

When scheduling your appointment, you will have the option of seeing your provider in person, at an office location, or virtually, on a computer, tablet or smart phone.

Should you and you provider decide on an in-office visit, we want you to know that your safety and health is our top priority. We follow stringent cleaning and social distancing protocols. All visitors must wear a mask in our office locations. We limit the number of patients in the waiting room and deep clean all community surfaces and patient rooms in between patients.

If a virtual appointment is desired by you, perhaps because of convenience, being some distance away from our offices or preferring to stay at home for your safety, we are able to provide treatment remotely.

Getting started with your virtual appointment:

We use the zoom app for a secure connection to you. Many patients are familiar with the Zoom app because they use it to stay connected to social groups or for work. If you are not familiar with Zoom, keep reading for instructions. We’ve got your back!

Using Zoom on a computer:

If you are using your computer for your virtual visit, you do not have to download the program beforehand. On the day of your appointment, you will receive a secure email containing your unique Zoom invitation. Simply open the email and find “Join Zoom Meeting.” Click on that link and the application will run. You have the option to download the application or run it on your browser. Please enter your first AND last name, then select “Join Meeting.”

Once you join the meeting, you will be sent to a virtual “waiting room.” Here, you will wait for your provider to connect to you! A couple of things to note:

  • Make sure you click “Join with Audio” at the bottom of your screen.

  • Make sure you select “Start Video” so your provider can see you!

Using Zoom on a smart phone or tablet:

If you are using a smart phone or tablet, you can either download zoom by clicking here while on your device or through your device’s application store. Simply search for “Zoom” and follow the download instructions. You also have the option to download Zoom from your unique email invite during your appointment time by clicking on the “Join Meeting” link while using your smart device.

  • After you select “Join Meeting” on your smart device, please enter your first AND last name.

  • Be sure allow Zoom permissions to use the device audio and video if prompted, so your provider can see and hear you.

What do we need from you?

  • A strong internet connection! We need to be able to see you and hear you without constant interruptions that come with buffering.

  • It is helpful to us when you are in a quiet and well lit room, so your provider can clearly see you and hear you. It is also not a good idea to be driving or eating during your appointment time!

  • Just as you would in person, please have a list of questions written down for your provider so they can answer any and all questions you have!

  • Have a loved one with you during your appointment for support.
